The Independent used the majority of available digital outdoor in London on Wednesday 21st April to promote its evolution under new ownership Lebedev, running alongside a period of free distribution and election specials. The content called attention to the newspaper’s refusal to back any political party in the elections, thereby asserting its independent stance.
A second takeover is live today, 29th April.

Amscreen are extending their forecourt screen network with a recent appointment by Shell to install screens in approximately 580 sites. Their total network will comprise of over 1,500 locations across the country, including screens in BP and Esso.
CDP, one of the most renowned advertising agencies in its time, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a party on the 15th April. They are running a London only campaign to remind the advertising community of the great work they did and raise awareness of the celebration party. Sites include Ocean’s Two Towers and JC Decaux’s Torch.
The sites were created by CDP Celebration organising committee members David Hughes and Mike Everett and pay homage to three of CDP’s iconic campaigns, Hamlet, Heineken and Hovis.
